Return to "Storyboard" mode and drag the required transition to the space involving the movie clips. Click "Effects" and drag the effect you want to each section from the storyboard. The star will appear within the lower left hand corner with the segment to exhibit that an effect continues to be applied.

Return to "Timeline" mode after which click and drag your audio track towards the timeline. Make any adjustments you really feel are necessary to edit the playback quality to match the background music. Select "Tools" and "Narrate timeline" if you would like to add a narrative track for your movie. Plug in a directional microphone that works well with your computer and click "Start Narration." Watch the "Input level" to be sure that your computer gets adequate sound levels. Keep in mind that you'll have to merge your music track using the narrative track by dragging one within the other if you need to use both simultaneously in your movie.

Click "Titles and Credits" to incorporate titles towards the beginning of your movie or put them before or on selected clips, or to incorporate credits towards the end of the movie. Preview your movie by scrolling back to the beginning of the moview and pressing the play button in the preview window. Select "Publish Movie" if you are happy using the preview. Select the place where you wish to publish your movie, then click "Next." Select a good name for the movie, go with a location and click "Next." "Best quality for my computer" is the best bet if you're publishing the movie on your hard drive.
